Balance Side No. 008 feels compact and warm, with the walnut doing a lot of the work. The grain gives the piece depth, while the open center keeps it from feeling too dense or heavy.
It has a small footprint, but it still feels deliberate and complete - more like a small piece of architecture than something meant to disappear beside a sofa.
